Ethan and Alexis' 2nd birthday party!

Our good friends kids turned 2 just 8 days after Olive turned 1! We actually were due with Olive on their birthday last year but she decided to come early! We got to go celebrate with them last weekend. Here is how we partied...2 year old style!

They have this awesome soccer ball that sprays water from all directions. Ethan, the birthday boy is cooling off!
Olive got a little curious and took me with her to explore!

But then, after watching Ethan a little more, she decided to give it another try!

She loved it! Ethan spent most of his time getting a drink!

Olive wouldn't touch HER birthday cupcake 2 weeks ago but after a little hesitation she dug right into Elmo!

I held while she ate, she still was a mess! It was a blast!

This is my favorite pic from the day! Olive getting a ride on Ethan and Lexi's new swing set they got for their birthday! Isn't that face just what life is all about? Oh how I love that girl! What a great time we had celebrating with our friends!

The Ohio State Fair!

Last Thursday we had an awesome time at The Ohio State Fair with our friends Meryn and Danny (they got us in for free! Sweet!) Olive wasn't feeling too great and it was HOT but we still had a great time!

A walk in the park

After church we stopped for a little walk in the park! Now that she can walk, Olivia never wants to sit down! We chased her all through sacrament so we thought it would be nice to let her be a free little bird and explore. She loved it! Enjoy!

Birthday Girl

It was party time on Sunday! We had a little birthday celebration for Olive! We played some games like pin the tail on the monkey, and a baby monitor treasure hunt. We ate yummy cupcakes too! Here are the highlights...in pictures!

July craft

I hosted craft group this month and we painted President Hinckley's Six "Be"s on a piece of plywood. Such a great addition in our home!

We had a great time as usual! Thanks girls!

A tale of her first cookie...

A couple of days ago, we were visiting with Linda, Adam, Mark, and Rachel (aunt and cousins!) who were here visiting from Philly. Grandma Gay had baked some chocolate chip cookies which were sitting on the counter. Olive decided it was time for her first cookie and grabbed one! Just days before her first birthdayI figured....why not?

I love this little girl! She is such a joy and can always put a smile on my face! Its so fun to see her be so excited over something as simple as a cookie! P.S. This is also her first ponytail!
