Happy Valentine's Day!

We started our Valentine's morning with my first ever attempt at Cinnamon rolls. Pumpkin cinnamon rolls with caramel frosting to be exact. I guess I did not let them rise long enough and they arent very pretty but they were delicious!
Evie had her first bite of something really sweet! Yum!
Jason gave us girls some chocolate covered strawberries which we opened up after lunch!
Goofy face from Olive!
Grandma Gay and Grandpa David stopped over and gave Olive and Evie a Valentine and a princess balloon!

Introducing a new member of our family!

OLIVE'S GLASSES!!!
And of course, a picture of little sister Evie! (who I could not get to look at the camera!)
So, we got the new glasses Friday. This was our second pair technically but she only wore the first for a few hours since they would not stay on her face, even after several adjustments. So we have a brown glittery frame in the front, pink glittery sides of the frame, and three little hearts on each side. She seems to like them much better than the first pair! We are still working up to wearing them all day, she likes to take breaks here and there. We are adjusting but we are getting there. Grateful to have the new addition. I didn't know that she couldnt see very well, just started noticing she was developing a lazy eye. I'm glad the opthomologist knew what he was doing and our new addition to the family is going to help our Olive see the world more clearly!

Since the Birthday visit....

Sorry for the long hiatus! Jason came home and our computer crashed and the holidays, etc, etc. So here is what you missed!
Our big girl Olive, eating a chocolate covered vanilla blueberry cupcake. Not a special event... she is just so adorable, everything she does is picture-worthy!
I turned another year older at the end of December and Jason took me out to a fancy restaurant and we had an amazing time! So needed after our 6mth long distance relationship!

Olive is so happy to have her Papa home! She has to do everything he does... like wear cowboy boots!
Evie is crawling and pulling up on stuff.... even climbs the first step!
Olive received her first Barbie for Christmas! Her Tangled Barbie comes with several hair extensions so Evie had to try one on.
Thomas the train is one of Olive's favorites right now! Grandma Susan and Grandpa John sent her some trains and movies for Christmas! She absolutely loves them!
She got another beautiful Fair ornament for her fairy series from Grandma Gay and Grandpa David!

I received many nice gifts and was spoiled with a KitchenAid!! Wahoo!
Evie wanted to eat most her of presents and wrapping paper! My three loves!
In early December, our neighborhood had a Christmas party. A horse-drawn sleigh ride to admire the Christmas lights and of course, Santa Claus. Olive would only stand any closer than two feet and Evie wasn't very happy either! Maybe next year!
I love Santa's face here. "I really am trying to get you a good picture Mom! Sorry you're child is not cooperating."
And that pretty much takes us back to November, pictures anyway. A few updates not imaged....
Evie now has 7 teeth with an 8th about to make its appearance!
Olive has decided to wear big girl pants and has had hardly any accidents! So proud of her!
Jason is loving his new job and all of the duties involved.
And I am so so so happy to have our little family all together again! Happy momma!
