15 months and 20 weeks

Today was an eventful day in our household! We first went to Olive's 15mth appointment at the pediatrician. She is such a petite little thing!
Here are her 15mth stats!
Weight: 19.0 lbs
Height: 30.25 inches
Head: 17.75 inches
At her One year appointment:
Weight: 17.63 Lbs
Height: 28.50 inches
Head: 17.50 inches
She is doing great cognitively. Speaking and signing! We are loving this age!
We came home for a quick nap then just as we were leaving to go to my Doctors appointment, Olive fell and got her first major goose egg from the corner of a table :( It has left a nasty mark and we felt so bad for her. After some hugs and snuggles, she seemed to have had a full recovery. We headed to the Doctors where we got to see baby R all snuggled in a ball in my tummy. This did not allow for very good pics but I posted what we got. We saw all the necessary parts and that what matters! Baby looks healthy and happy and we are halfway to meeting this sweet little one!

HaLLoWeeN!

Olive was an adorable little giraffe for Halloween this year!! We had such a blast getting her dressed up and she loved to carry around her pumpkin! We went to about 15 homes in our neighborhood- Olive really figured it out and started to even take her own candy and put it in her bag. Sometimes she picked a piece, examined it, then decided to choose another one! It was sooo cute!

Checking out the goods!

Isnt the tail adorable?

Did my boot bring home any candy?

Halloween is so much better with kids!

Time to catch up

Wow, I feel really guilty for taking an extended and unintended vacation from blogging! Life is wonderful....but oh so busy! I am finally feeling better, more energy, less sickness....20 weeks tomorrow! We go tomorrow for our 20 week ultrasound so I will certainly be posting some more pics then! I have gone back to work two days a week to help cover a co-workers maternity leave. Its hard to be away even just two days....but it is temporary and the timing is perfect for a little extra money because....we are buying our first house!! Its a slow process working with a bank owned property but we are hoping to close within the next three weeks! Its a great home, in an amazing neighborhood...the elementary school where Olive will go is a block away. I have always dreamed of being able to walk my kids to school and having them close by. Its also in Worthington schools which is one of the most desired school districts in Columbus. We are so excited and will be posting lots of pics of our attempt to make it our home. Its been empty and uncared for for about 18months so we cant wait to get our hands on it!
Here are a few pics of one of my most favorite things..... sneaking up and snapping pics of Papa and Olive reading stories before bed! I am soooooo blessed!

Th best birthday gift....

We went on Wednesday to the Nationwide Children's Hospital Hospice Care Center and made our birthday delivery. We asked Olive's 1st Birthday guests to bring a gift to donate to children who may be celebrating their last birthday instead of giving to Olive who celebrated her 1st of many. We really want a way to teach our children about service and the blessings received when we give to others so this is our new birthday tradition. As Olive gets older, we will allow her to choose her most favorite gift to keep then we will go as a family to give our birthday donation to children in need. This is a pic of everything we were able to donate.

I'm very sad that AGAIN I forgot my camera. We really wanted a picture with the director of the program who accepted our donations...but the camera did not join us on our trip (I told you I have been awful lately!). We had a wonderful time talking to the program director and they were so appreciative. I know Olive had no idea what we were doing, but if when she is older, she can feel even a little of what Jason and I felt as we left the Hospice center, I know she will feel the desire to serve more and a taste of what our Father in Heaven wants us to feel towards all his children. It was an amazing experience for our family!

Random breakfast pics

Good Morning!

I found these pics snapped at breakfast a week or so ago. I guess I've been really bad at taking pictures because these are all thats on our camera :( Guess I better get it into gear....she wont be this little for forever! Anyway, enjoy these and I will try to be a better Momma and capture more sweet moments!
