visit to the "Greats"!

We traveled up to Painesville last weekend with Grandpa David and Grandma Gay to visit with Great Grandma Mary and also Aunt Sarah and cousin Ammon who were here visiting from WA. Great Grandma gave Olive a face painting book that came complete with paints and a brush and while I was feeding little sister, Grandpa Dave helped her jump right in! This is about what it looked like when I walked in the room! I had a very happy little girl having a great time painting every inch or her body... and her grandpas face too! Grateful the clothing was removed before too much damage was done! :)

We also took a short drive to visit Great Grandpa Jim at Auntie Dee and Uncle Bills house! We had a delicious dinner that Aunt Dee made and we had a really nice visit just talking and relaxing!

Olive wanted to wave to the camera!

Cousin Gia even came over to play and it was great to see Sara and Mike and Carly and Dan! We haven't been able to visit since February so it was great to catch up!

Trick or treat?

One felt it was a trick...

The other felt it was a treat!

We had just returned from spending the weekend visiting family which means no one slept well the night before, they hadn't had normal naps, and it happened to be very cold! Evie felt it was a nasty trick to be dragging her out in that condition but Olive, though tired, was sooo excited to trick or treat. Although She was throwing massive fits when I wouldn't let her eat every piece she got, overall she loved it which made it worth the immense effort it took to not just forget it and go to bed! I do hope I never have to take the kids trick or treating alone again though!

Ballerina in action.... she is very good at twirling and she keeps twirling and twirling! Not sure how she is immune to dizziness???

I also hope I never have to carve the pumpkin again without Jason.... it was very sad to be doing so.
Hope everyone had a sweet and spooky Halloween!

Halloween playdate!

Halloween is my favorite time of year! I love the smell and feel of Fall! I love apples, pumpkins, crunchy leaves, pumpkins desserts, costumes, and a spooky feeling in the air! So of course we had to invite all our friends over for a spooky Halloween play date! It was sooo fun!

Jen K. made these adorable mummy cookies and they were delicious!
A costume was required!

Coloring pumpkins and haunted houses!

Thanks to all our friends who came! Even though the mystery scavenger hunt was rained out, we had a blast doing the monster mash, coloring, and eating yummy food! SO grateful for all our awesome friends!
